2025 Taichung Winter Camp Course Record

Is technology cold and impersonal?

Is programming just about writing code?

What kind of skills will the future world need?

Is it just technical knowledge, or is it the mindset to solve problems?

In our AI Programming Introductory Practical Course, we don't just teach kids how to code. We also use design thinking to help them learn how to observe life, identify problems, and use technology to create works that change their lives.

Design Thinking: Solving Real Problems with a Focus on "People"

The core of design thinking starts with "user needs." Through observation, brainstorming, design, and practice, we help students find the best solutions to real-world problems. In the winter camp, kids didn't just learn technical skills—they learned how to use technology to respond to the needs of everyday life.

For example, one student noticed that their hamster was always bored in its cage, so they designed a "Hamster Playground," allowing the pet to have fun in a ball pit. Another student designed a workout timer and counter for their mom, helping her complete her daily exercises more efficiently.

Behind these creations lies the students' careful observation of life and their concern for others.

This learning approach not only helps kids master technical skills but also nurtures their empathy and problem-solving abilities. These skills are the core competencies most needed in the future society.

Can your child become a little maker who changes the world?

Imagine if your child could design an automatic feeder for the family pet, or create a health reminder device for an elderly family member.

What an incredible achievement that would be! During the winter camp, the kids' projects spanned across various fields such as pets, family, and health, showcasing how technology can be integrated into every aspect of daily life.

These projects not only amaze us but also reveal the limitless potential within our children. With the right guidance and tools, they can use creativity and technology to bring real change to everyday life.

Four Days of Learning and Creating

In the first two days of the winter camp, the kids received foundational training in electronics and programming, setting a strong base for their upcoming creative projects. In the following two days, they were free to unleash their imagination and design unique interactive devices.

For example, one student drew inspiration from the popular series Squid Game and designed an interactive game, incorporating iconic elements from the show to create a completely new gaming experience. Another student designed a slow-eating reminder device for individuals with swallowing difficulties, helping them enjoy each meal more safely.

Why Choose Curiosity Academy's AI Programming Course?

Let your child's creative seed sprout here 🌱

This winter camp is not just about learning technical skills, but about exploring "people." The creative seeds in the kids' hearts have already quietly begun to sprout. What they learn here is not just technology, but how to observe the world and solve problems through design thinking. This ability will accompany them for life and bring more innovation and change to society in the future.

Enroll your child in the AI Programming Introductory Practical Course and let them become little makers who change the world, creating works that transform everyday life with technology.

  1. Cultivate Design Thinking: Help children learn to start with "people," observe life, discover problems, and use technology to offer solutions.

  2. Hands-on Practice to Spark Creativity: Using tools like Arduino, children will turn their wild ideas into reality, experiencing the creative process from concept to creation.

  3. Small Class Sizes, Professional Guidance: Experienced instructors lead the way, ensuring each child gets ample attention and guidance.

  4. Complete a Project in Four Days: Let children experience the full design process in a short time and take home their own finished projects.
